My only concern is that the settings apply only to the themes files.
What about woo-coommerce and other plugins … will Divi handle minimisation of these?

Will it make much of a difference either way … or shall I have both turned on?

Yeah … sorry I had to find another solution.
FYI
I am a web developer.
the problem was not a cacahe problem as I was making sure that the cacahe was cleared properly before making a diagnosis.

I have the GDPR Cookie Compliance plugin activated and configured as you can see.
Strictly cookies? Always enabled and hidden from user.
I have GA cookies enabled by default.
The code is placed in the head section
An hour of testing … and removing all history in browsers … have I seen any GA code anywhere.
None? Doesn’t work.
Can you advise me … I am a web developer.

Hi Dat,

There is no image hotlinking protection going on. If there was I would do this at the htaccess level. I’m in control of this .. definitely not.

I am advised by Elegant Themes Support that Photon does not work with Divi background images. They state …

“I’m afraid that the Jetpack Photon addon only works with the img element, such as the image module, it cannot work for images set as background images. I’m really sorry about this!”

The two images that you have cited above are both foreground images … and they are correctly picked up by Photon when Photon is switched on. The page has a background image … this is not picked up.

Actually switching to the default theme in WordPress it’s the same … the background image is not picked up by Photon.
Can I ask … Is Photon supposed to pick up background images? i.e. one’s without any image attributes.
I’m starting to think that Photon does not deal with images that don’t have image attributes.

Thanks for coming back to me.
To illustrate

Currently a not-found page design I’m working on.
Page has one foreground image and one background image
The foreground image is picked up by photon correctly.
The background image is not ~ still retains the original path.
This behaviour is consistent across all pages I am developing.
The theme I am using is Divi ~ the page builder theme.

Sorry, sounds like a lot of work. It is happening though … was disappointed that the language files were suddenly replaced after going through and deleting them all.

Ok … 12 hours later the deleted language files are back.

The problem exists in permanence.

The reality … all sucuri text … in the program itself and in emails delivered is visual garbage.

In my case … it is not fit for purpose.

Can you advise me on the outlook on this please?

I have just updated all the translations that pop up on ManageWP and the problem is back.
I think it is a problem with the Yoast plugin.

Hi,
I’ve followed the advisory to delete the two language files and this solves the problem.
All emails are fine … and all the changes in the wordpress Sucuri interface (which are very confusing) have rectified.
So thanks for the solution.
I would say the problem … if not fixed … renders Sucuri not fit for purpose … from a GUI point of view.

I also get the password: FailedLoginFooter issue as described above.

The difference is that I have blocked the wp-login.php page. It can only be accessed by one IP address … mine. I have denied access to any other … forbidden !

But, I still get these email alerts. They are always the same except the IP addresses are changing. username: admin … password: FailedLoginFooter

Can you advise on a possible course of action.

Yeah … I update all my sites plugins from WP-Manage.
They all have identical configs … all using Sucuri.
On updating Sucuri on a single site … trying to login just hangs … get gateway error.
Tried another site … same thing.
My solution? I’m not going to bother updating until there is a fix.
