The reason behind this, and as many people use it; is that the user uploads the photo they want to use at the size they want. The plugin needs to use the image at its correct size. Although the size could be filtered, this will lead to more problems then its worth for many users. Also adding an option to filter the size, also may sound like a neat way of providing this; it will in fact cause confusion to many users who are not aware of this setting.

Unless I am missing something, I don’t believe this is a worthwhile addition at this time?

It sounds like there is a conflict with your theme.

Sounds like its a conflict with your theme and/or plugin.

Please try it with standard WordPress theme, and if need be, disable any plugins.

Doing this will prove the plugin works, and should help you debug the issue with any conflicts that may be occuring.

I have tested this and get can 6+ short codes in a post using the standard theme.

I would suggest there is some conflict with the theme your using; try a standard WordPress theme and see if the issue persists.

The CSS used in the plugin gets disabled by mobile browsers for performance issues. This is down to the mobile browser and not the plugin.

There are options on the parallax edit page so you can decide what happens on a mobile page, eg. you could hide the parallax and display something else in its place.

I believe you have the wrong page. This is a plugin not a theme.

A feature image is a fundamental element of all WordPress posts/pages.

I suggest reading up on how to use WordPress, and feature images.

Normally the meta box for feature image is bottom right of the edit screen.

The Fullpage.js that the plugin uses only runs if the full screen option is selected; so do you need to select the full screen option?

The fullscreen.js script just finds all of the parallax containers on the page, and sets their css height to that of the content within it.

For the full screen option to work, it creates a div the same size of the post area (this is what the js does). the post/page content then sits within the content area. Possibly the script that you are referring to, does not like these extra divs?
