I’m afraid I’ve just been bitten by this bug as well (Dashboard: Form, Lists, Delivery, Company Info all non-clickable). All was fine until this last update.

In reply to: [Newsletter - Send awesome emails from WordPress] HTML Block rendering failedCan I add something to this please? Over the years, I’ve had quite a few problems with mod_security – and my hosting provider is unable to disable it because I’m on a shared server plan. I can control many mods via the control panel – but not that one. This may be the case for many users.
If the plugin can be recoded in a way that avoids mod_security altogether, then I’d be delighted!

In reply to: [Newsletter - Send awesome emails from WordPress] Create two columnsThis problem is intriguing me …
1) Have you tried using percentages for table/column widths?
2) Tried scrapping the table approach and using DIVs?
3) What email client are you viewing the emails in (that require it to be responsive)?I’m interested because, up to now, I’ve always made my newsletter emails a fixed width (it’s easier) … but being fully responsive might be worth me attempting.

In reply to: [Newsletter - Send awesome emails from WordPress] Create two columnsI would do this in an HTML block – and use tables.
HTML geeks will tell you to use divs instead of tables – but I think tables are still the preferred option for HTML styled emails.
I’m not sure what you’re doing wrong, but I’ve been using this add-on to send image-laden newsletters for a couple of years now with no problems (on that score at least!).
Are the images [not] stored locally/on the same server?

In reply to: [Contact Form 7] Textarea not processing line endings in HTML styled emailsIt’s a development site at the moment … I’ll PM you the details! Thanks for the quick response!
Thanks for the feedback! Sadly, I get these errors with 7.3 now – but not as often.
If have any ideas as to which extensions are suspect, then I can try disabling them.
I’m also getting this:
cURL error 6: getaddrinfo() thread failed to start- This reply was modified 3 years, 6 months ago by adamnz.
I struggled with this problem for a fair while, trying all the suggestions in turn … until [finally] applying the PHP version tweak.
My site was on 7.4 and setting it back to 7.3 got the Site Kit working fully (so far!!).
I have easy access to my PHP settings in my hosting Control Panel, but I wonder how people that don’t have that sort of access would fare.
I’d suggest the the coders of the Site Kit investigate what works in 7.3 but breaks in 7.4.
Me too – many thanks!

In reply to: [Newsletter - Send awesome emails from WordPress] Support doesn’t care.I can assure readers here that I have absolutely no affiliation whatsoever with the Newsletter devs – other than being a [satisfied] customer for their paid plugin.
The reason I “leap to their defence” is that when people make requests or report bugs I see reasonable efforts from them to sort things out. I’ve had a one or two issues with the plugin myself – and I think one of them (at least) went to PMs and email: all very polite and proper. Ask nicely and you’re more likely to get what you want – especially if your grievance is genuine. Mud-slinging gets you nowhere, IMHO.

In reply to: [Newsletter - Send awesome emails from WordPress] Support doesn’t care.I have to leap to the devs’ defence here – in what I think is a bit of an unfair review.
I’ve been using this addon/plugin (paid version) for a fair while now and subscribe to/view all the support topics in case in case I miss the odd tid-bit.
The responses here, though not always being able to solve a perceived problem or shortcoming, have always been courteous and (I think) helpful.
I hope I’m not going to be construed as a “fanboi” with no powers of criticism – I’m usually pretty demanding (anal!) of any payware I use. No software is perfect, but I find this Newsletter plugin to be one of the best. Your mileage may vary but, IMHO, this plugin is absolutely *NOT* a ripoff or scam – and I find those tags to be totally unjustified.
Just my 2c worth …

In reply to: [Newsletter - Send awesome emails from WordPress] IP Geo Block ConflictI’ve been a tong-time user of Admin Tools (Akeeba) for both Joomla and WordPress. By all accounts, trying to protect yourself via a geo-block is relatively useless (these days). IP’s are often spoofed – and the very people you’re trying to protect yourself from are exactly the people most likely to spoof. Akeeba has since stopped using any geo-block feature (though you can still block individual IP addresses).
Not sure whether that’s what you want to hear, but I thought I’d better mention it!
