For things like that, a good way to check is to run your site through the W3 Validator, you’ll easily spot errors like forgetting to close a tag

Oh and also create the mysql user account on the new server.

It’s kinda funny, because minimalism is a word you could pretty much use to sum me up in a nutshell, and everyone of my websites I create usually has some kind of a minimalist design (though this one is definitely the most bare theme I’ve created by far).

I am really going for a minimalistic design, I think I just need some little touches to make the page look more professional. If I hire a web designer, it’s going to be a very small job.

xxbossmanxx: the entire website is running on my own custom php and mysql code. I’m still learning the languages, I’ve been learning from youtube tutorials (I highly recommend the youtube channel called phpacademy), but in due time the entire website will probably be running on my own custom cms.

The listings I’m getting right now are from my local realtor association, but I plan to expand to other markets when I officially launch the site.

Can anyone answer this one? I want to do the same thing!

Nevermind it was a plugin issue.

Well get_archives will list the most recent posts. What I am asking is if you can set the get_archives function to list the most recent posts, but exclude any recent posts that fall under a category I wish to exclude from listing.
