Okay, i figured i’d have to solve the problem myself, and, fingers crossed, i think ive found the solution.

Basically, guys, i want you to try this, if you’re having the same problem – just log into your website, the home directory. (if you’re using cpanel, just click on File Manager, then Home Directory) and you should see a file somewhere called php.ini. Open that up, and edit the memory_limit to 256M (the default is 64M) and that’s it!!! See if that works, guys…and let me know if it does please ??

Okay, i can elaborate a little…based on a bit more digging up ive done. MonsterMawd, you can try something similar and see if you get the same results.

Basically, i got a couple of friends to access my wordpress admin area. And you know what? they reported 0 problems, i told them to spend a good few minutes clicking links and spotting any slow-load. My friends, along with the representative of my host that i spent 2 hours with, said that they dont see any delay greater than the normal fluctuations in loading times……so its only me o.o

so I’m thinking that it has something to do with my connection. Which doesnt make any sense either, coz every other website under the sun works fine, i find it hard to believe that its only my one that will give problems. I can download at 4mb/s, play games, surf the net, all with no problems. I hope that helps………..

Esmi i think you’re being a bit over-sensitive, i dont mind others telling their problems on this thread as long as it resembles mine, and MonsterMawd has the same problem so i dont detect any impoliteness there.

Anyway, help is needed urgently…please guys, come on

    Hi there,

I just spent 2 hours talking with my hosting company. they made me go through a series of checks, and the conclusion was that there’s no problem from their server. Which takes me right back to square one – having to wait 5-10 mins to see half of my wordpress dashboard sidebar to show up (if im lucky, otherwise I get nothing)

    So…any other ideas, guys?

    Hey,
it’s a manual fresh install. I mean my domain was empty, i downloaded the latest version of wordpress and i installed it manually as instructed.

How should i reinstall it? will it make a difference….?
