I’m having the same problem at the moment. Adding the social profile widget to the front page results in WP asking me to create a menu.
In social-profile.php I changed nav_menu on the sixth line to social_widget_1. But in fp-social.php there is no nav_menu on line 6. Do I add social_widget_2 there and if so, where exactly?
If not, how can I fix this, please?

    My site is https://www.anjavanginneken.nl

(By the way, it’s not easy building a site like this but I love this theme and I’m starting to like being able to add so many elemets.)

Lester, thank you for your answer.

The first issue could be server related. I’ll ask the site host about this. A friend suggestes it might have something to do with daylight saving time as the difference is only an hour.

The second issue is annoying and is a let down where the professionality of the site is concerned. My sidebar is supposed to be a sidebar and not an bottom bar. Yes, I understand that it has to do with the theme but WP-Polls is the ONLY plugin that gives this problem. And I do use a fair amount of plugins.

I’ll try to get help from the theme designers but I fear that as usual it’s up to me to solve these issues. I’ll put the status of this item on resolved.

I do have EXACTLY the same problem. The same error, the same result after removing all themes but TwentyTwelve, being a white page. And I still would like to know how to fix it. So I’m hoping @twoshoe can give a hint to where I can find the code that’s causing the trouble.

If I start a new topic on this, I’m sure you will tell that it’s not okay – as per the Forum Welcome- to open a topic that has already been ‘resolved’.
