That’s a fair point. There’s pros and cons to everything and the WP developers know that.
So they offer us the Classic editor. They could have just said is too much work and force the new way altogether but even in WP5 we will be able to install Classic editor and never even look at Gutenberg. ??

We got the new version.
After the update everything works fine.

The version of the plugin is 2.3.4 and I’m not sure how to update it.
I usually backup all files/databases before WP update, so I have everything and then just restore it when I see the map back-end breaks. So I’m back with WP 4.1.12, the last version it worked with.
