Well, I think I found the issue, not sure I understand it though. It looks like the username has to be the same as the nickname. That is why it worked for brianb722, because that was his username and nickname. My username was actionberg and my nickname was matt. Weird how it still displayed the right posts under “matt” but just didn’t display the user information. A bug I guess?

Instead of the red should I go to a lighter grey? Then I would have just grey and black for the horizontal lines?

Looks fine in Safari (looks the same in Firefox), except that the middle column’s left border doesn’t go all the way down to the footer. Not sure if that is the way you wanted it though.

@whooami – Thanks for reminding me about the black bar at the top. It is actually supposed to be there, I just forgot to add an image above it.

I see what you are saying about the “Article” looking off. I might try putting something in between those two sections.

As far as the keyboard img, you are right, it currently doesn’t serve any purpose, but I am planning on making it usable for typing.

You are able to set how many posts are visible on the main page. In your admin section, click on the Options tab and then the Reading tab. There you can select how many posts/days to display. I think this is what you are referring to.

Why would the “transparency” slow down the scrolling? All it is is a DIV with a PNG as the background. I wouldn’t think that should slow anything down.

Good point. That would definitely give it a better look I think. I previously had a much skinnier content section, but with the wider look, I think moving the header text over will definitely give it a better flow for the eyes.

Perfect, that is what I was looking for. Similar to that, do you know of a way to hide the parent category? Like, I wouldn’t want Journey or Thoughts to show up in the post categories or the categories listed on the sidebar.

Thanks for the help. I have to main parent categories, Journey and Thoughts. Each post will have one or the other as the parent. When I am listing the posts for the main page, for each post I would like to know what the parent category is in a variable so that I can display a different image above each post.
