In reply to: [Yoast SEO] Long tailed keywordsHello
Editing my current post I get this information below. My title of the post is simply the plant name, see how it suggests the keyphrase which is my attempt at long tail lands in trouble because it doesn’t match the title. So if I have to match the title with my
keyword, Where do I place this long tail keyword. Title of post is Mahonia Soft Caress the long tail keword I am trying to get accepted is, (Is Mahonia Soft Caress Hardy)
I do realise I have to place thise keyphrase in the body of the post two or three times.WP Analysis
Keyphrase in SEO title: Not all the words from your keyphrase “Is Mahonia Soft Caress hardy” appear in the SEO title. For the best SEO results, write the exact match of your keyphrase in the SEO title, and put the keyphrase at the beginning of the title.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Yoast SEO] Long tailed keywordsThanks Maybellyne, I will see if I can get to grips with this. Am I right in thinking the keyword has to match the title.

In reply to: [Yoast SEO] SEO problemIt will take me some time to get to grips with your suggestion of point 9. My site is all about garden plants, in fact an encyclopedia with plant names as the title of each post, so I guess it is indeed a keyword problem which Microsoft seems to cope with. I read they are not so fussy, rather insulting to myself I guess.
Hope to get back to you soon when I find out about Long Tail.
Delighted with your assistance.

In reply to: [Yoast SEO] SEO problemThank you very much for your suggestions, Maybelline.
It will take some time for an old timer like myself to go through all this.
I really do not think it’s the quality of the posts. For instance if you take my current pos titled (Hydrangea Paniculata Magical Mont Blanc) it only appears on a Google search if I add Aberdeen gardening to the search, it then comes up on page one. I feel this is where the clue is lying.

In reply to: Ability to commentThank you very much for the suggested solution. I mainly use Firefox but the orange button is not there so I had difficulty proceeding. I think I will pass this information on to my Host and see if they will do it for me.
Thanks

In reply to: Post text colorThank you for getting back to me. I had an obvious brainwave and tested another theme, the problem was gone. As you suggest, the problem has to be with my current theme.

In reply to: display images on homepageI just found that adding a featured image does the job on the homepage. Only thing is it also adds it to the post in a ridiculous position. Any way I can prevent the featured image from appearing on the homepage.

In reply to: display images on homepageThanks for the code Michael but I am pretty sure weaver overrides WP. Unfortunately any attempt I make at sending them a support question is met with an oops something went wrong, perhaps you need the paid version to get support. I would try another theme but I have spent so long getting my settings just right that I am reluctant to do so.
