I would like to add that I have tried every possible Category option and nothing works correctly. When I select Rank Math Primary Category the input is a number and not the category name. Thanks again!

    Hi,

I’m new to WooCommerce and working on a brand new install, brand new site, using WooCommerce Version 5.4.1, and have the same problem. None of the filters work, with or without a plugin. They never worked from the start so I tried 3 different filter plugins after the original WooCommerce install thinking that a plugin was needed, creating a new widget for each one.

At first, I thought it was the fact that we had just migrated the content and products and the attributes were messed up. I fixed that and it still didn’t work.

Nothing works, nothing happens when a filter is selected or the page just hangs on loading using no plugins. On top of that, all the original widgets in the sidebar lost their styling from the premium theme once I placed them back on the sidebar. There seems to be a problem with styling CSS too on the sidebar as none of the widgets I created for the different filter plugins aligned properly.

I disabled all the installed plugins on the site and tried the default filters with the Storefront theme and the filters didn’t work either.

The search occasionally returns random empty pages when I know there are products that fit the query. It’s random and hard to reproduce.

There is no previous version to revert to since this is a fresh install. I don’t know what else to do. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

    Hi, Esmi,

Thanks – I figured out that the page.php had to be renamed so now it calls the right template. That’s why there was a _page.php. Pnce I did that, the proper template displays.

I appreciate the help – Thanks again!

I just re-uploaded the include files but it made no difference. I still can’t edit and save any templates.

    Hi,
Have the same problem. Uploaded original version of vars.php and it stopped the “Magic”pop up for login. It fixed the Magic issue but not the 403 error when trying to update and save template files. Permissions on the server are correct. Not sure what else to do.

I also found the code in 2 plugins, which I deleted but the template edit/save permission denial is still there.

Did anyone with the Magic issue also have a problem with saving updated templates?

To complicate matters, I had upgraded to 2.9 right after solving the Magic issue and need to correct the Page template which is showing the default and not the custom one.

    Thanks!

    PS

I thought maybe it did not work because the page was edited and had been created with a prior version I then created another new page and tried the content but got the same results. Thanks again! VB

    Hi,

Is it possible to upload the images by ftp then activate through the plugin admin area? If so, where or which directory should they be uploaded to? I can’t use the flash upload due to server settings.

    Thanks in advance!
