In reply to: Blogpost not accessibleThanks for your reply. I am on the phone with the host now seeing if they can help troubleshoot.
I’m thinking it may not be the theme or the plug-ins because every other post works with no problem. It’s just the one with the URL change that doesn’t seem to exist for Google Analytics and that now won’t load at all (except most likely from my cache on Safari).
??
Thank you, Rolf. I had to delete the plug-in, but since you have fixed the bug I will download the new version & try again. Thanks again
I for got to give you my website URL: https://www.neversaydiebeauty.com

In reply to: [nrelate Related Content] Problem with related article selectionI’m having the same issues. The plugin only selects among the most recent posts and ignores related content that’s a much better fit. Is there anything that can be done about this? my site is https://www.neversaydiebeauty.com Thanks!

In reply to: Can't get line breaks to workThank you so much! My mistake!
The extra space before the / did not seem to make a difference.
I just went in to make the change. I placed the
or
at the end of the sentence/paragraph. Instead of one line break, it gave me either a triple line break…which is better than everything running together. But is there any way I can get a single line between paragraphs?
Thanks again for your help

In reply to: Can't get line breaks to workHakkim, thanks for responding, but something is missing in your reply. ?? After the word “Try”, it is blank.
Unfortunately, I’m not familiar with PHP, so I don’t know how to try the nl2br() function.
I placed the code that @supertrooper2 suggested toward the top of the function.php, saved the file, refreshed the page, deleted the code, saved the file, went to the GAD setting, logged in via the process on top, and got the same error message:
Error gathering analytics data from Google: usageLimitsuserRateLimitExceededUnregUser Rate Limit Exceeded. Please sign uphttps://code.google.com/apis/console
Please try again later.
Did I do something wrong? Any other ideas?
@supertrooper2 does it matter where in the function.php I place the code?
I am having the same problem. @supertrooper2 I’d like to try your solution, but I’m not so tech savvy. What do you mean “refresh an admin page” and “‘comment it out”?
I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the wordpress Google Analytics Dashboard plug-in but it didn’t fix it. Also, I turned on the Analytics API but that didn’t do anything either.
Any easy-to-follow help would be greatly appreciated. My site is https://www.neversaydiebeauty.com

In reply to: Can't get into admin panelThanks, esmi. I just tried calling tech support at my host, per your suggestion. I got a recorded message on the tech support line saying all tech are busy and it hung up. Maybe that’s a sign!
In response, I just tried again, and I was able to get in this time. However, it seemed “jumpy”. Maybe there is something wrong at the server.
Thank you for your suggestions. Before I try or get someone more technically astute than I to try your suggestions, I will wait a bit to see if it’s resolved. Thanks again.

In reply to: Can't get into admin panelI haven’t contact my host because I can load my website. Also, I discovered that I can go to my website, click on a post, and get into the admin by “editing” the post. But I can’t live with that as a work around. Any ideas?

In reply to: [Online Backup for WordPress] Backup no longer initiates on scheduleFailed again. I changed the email to the email associated with my wp acct, and that didn’t help. Here’s the activity log from last night.
The backup failed: There is a problem with your WordPress installation’s ability to send emails, or the backup file is too large to send as an attachment (259.82 KiB).
5th Feb 2013 2.20.01 AM Error Two attempts to send the email timed out. It looked like PHP would have enough to memory to process backup files of up to 38.4 MiB, and your backup file is 259.82 KiB. There may be an issue with your WordPress installation’s ability to send emails with attachments, or something is causing the emailing process to use more memory than it normally would. Try reducing the size of your backup and check that any email-related plugins are functioning normally.

In reply to: [Online Backup for WordPress] Backup no longer initiates on scheduleIt is possible that I changed the email address from the address associated with my wordpress account to the email address associated with my website, and they are different. I changed the email address to the one associated with my wordpress account and I will see if it works for the backup scheduled for 2am. If there are continued problems, I’ll get back to you. Thank you so far for suggesting looking at the email address.
