Thanks a lot pointing out to xili-postingpost. Really great plugin. And also thanks to immediately making an enhancement to it and make a new version of it. It works for what it claims…

However, I still consider using the shortcode that comes with the Theme, for the simple reason that it displays the date, price, location etc. in a very neat fashion. Please go to https://utsav.podzone.net/program/ to get an overview of the results. In this page, you will first see xili-postinpost’s result (xilipostinpost Events) and then Hotec theme’s shortcode’s result (Events shortcode of Hotec Theme).

I guess we have two options:
1) Modify the theme’s shortcode [events] so that I can filter out events that do not belong in the language of the page. Unfortunately these events do not have categories so we cannot filter with categories. We have to rely on “lang”. I believe it is a short modification of WP_Query [events] is using and we can achieve the filtering…

2) Extract custom post’s taxonomies (price, location) etc ourselves with postinpost and format the output ourselves. But I don’t know if this is possible.

I would appreciate if you could give me a little bit of guidance so that I can do the work. I have very limited php experience but I am computer literate and I am eager to learn. I could also give you admin access to this WP installation if you think it would help.

I figured out displaying all posts with showposts=-1

[xilipostinpost featuredimage=1 showposts=-1 lang=’en_us’ query=’post_type=event’]

But the language parameter is still ignored. And the event lists overlap. You can see the result at https://utsav.podzone.net/?lang=en_us

Do you have any directions to show to me on how I can avoid the overlap and be successful in filtering per language?

That works when I put it in the Events Manager’s event’s description (post content)! Thanks! You rock!

But when I put it in single event template (Dasboard-Events-Settings-Formatting-Events-Default single event format) it does not get executed. Are you familiar with Events Manager?

as soon as I switch to the visual editor, the &&& gets converted to :
& amp ; (omit spaces)

Actually I made a misplaced diagnosis. I deleted a subdomain again.

And then I click the “repair” link, I get the error 500 Interval server error. Here is the log :

then :
1. main site gives : whitepage with error “Error establishing a database connection”. This request does not produce an error log in apache.
2. subdomain sites work. both backend and frontend fine
3. Strange enough, this time images under uploads/ did not vanish this time … Strange!
4. After applying “repair table” to all tables under phpmyadmin, repairing happened but nothing changed.
5. If I try to follow WP “repair tables” link from a WP URL containing /network/ in it, it fails with the same error message.
6. If I try to follow WP “repair tables” link from a WP URL not containing /network/, I get a warning that I should add into wp-config.php the line define(‘WP_ALLOW_REPAIR’, true); I added the line
7. and the WP database repair reports :

wp_posts: Table 'awareness.wp_posts' doesn't exist
wp_comments: Table 'awareness.wp_comments' doesn't exist
wp_links: Table 'awareness.wp_links' doesn't exist
wp_options: Table 'awareness.wp_options' doesn't exist

Conclusion : When I try to delete a subdomain, some of the main site tables do get deleted along the way.

Can you figure out something? Is this a bug? I would like to be able to delete subdomains. Can I do it manually? In any case, still, we might be dealing with a bug here maybe?

OK, I put FB share button, it works now.

But there is still problems google. I tried both Google “+1” and Google Share buttone. None of them seem to work under chrome (linux)

Any ideas?
