You are right, that did the trick! Had to clear it in a few places as I was using different mobile browsers, InCognito but still wasn’t affected. Looks great now though, thanks again!

Thank you! That did the trick! Although I’d like to close the gap just a little more so it matches actual spacing between normal paragraphs. Let’s say another 20 pixels. Can it be done somehow?

I am also not clear how to exactly add an x-robots or noindex tag in the .htaccess file.

We are also unable to locate the file anywhere on the server or database.

It does appear that the PDF is now gone from Google search, but still lives online. This may just be a normal fluctuation in Google’s algorithm?

Quick update here – I figured out this was only happening on certain posts due to my Social Snap plugin. I believe it did some type of manual debug to pull in old share counts and it must have created the issue with duplicate OG Tags. I will follow up with that developer directly. Thanks again!

Hi again – circling back on this issue I connected with my theme developer and he indicated I must update to the latest theme version to correct the issue (the theme was completely rebuilt from the ground up).

After about a month of updates getting the new site to look correct on the new theme version staging site, I noticed this same exact issue has resurfaced (it wasn’t happening initially on the new theme only after I made some updates). The only thing that fixes it is disabling the Yoast SEO plugin.

I went through the steps of disabling every other plugin and have opened another ticket with the developer to see if it’s something caused by the theme but still nothing.

Anyone on your team that could assist with locating the root cause of this issue?

Thank you for the reply! I will have to look into this further to see. I am not sure how those extra set of tags got there or how to remove them. I will attempt the steps you listed and reply back here if a solution is reached.

What alternatives do you recommend? I am tired of their share counts not working at all.

I have long since moved on and downloaded the plugin SmashBalloon Instagram Feed Pro. For anyone having these issues I highly recommend their plugin. It works like a dream and has a ton of added functionality and features.
