In reply to: [Plugin: Widget Logic] Multilanguagesounds great, I’ll give it a try… Thanks!
Edit:
It works the first time but if one clicks on a link on the page, the widget comes back and is translated….
But that isn’t the only issue with the translation plugin’s operation, so i’m putting that idea on hold for the moment….
Thanks again for your help.

In reply to: [Plugin: Event Calendar 3] ‘Editor’ can’t set dateshmmmn….
I think it’s upgraded (the
current_user_can
section is commented out) and it seems to publish as editor when using this xp based pc…Publish didn’t work on his vista based system. I wonder if it could be an internet explorer caching issue as he was only recently upgraded from author to editor.
I think I’ll have to go back and have another look at his pc…..
Thanks for your help….

In reply to: [Plugin: Widget Logic] Admin only widgets?I don’t see how…
The roles and capabilities seems to relate more to the admin panel and editing, not viewing pages..
It must be possible somehow….

In reply to: No Sidebars on Google ‘cached’ page?wierd:
This seems to be an internet explorer problem then (not sure about other browsers atm).
In internet explorer 7:
the 2nd link was cached on 26th april and shows the earlier theme using negative margins which didn’t display correctly (right sidebar ok, left sidebar too far to the right of where it should be in the page – which is one of the reasons i thought i needed to upgrade the it)
The 1st link is the newer theme, cached on the 28th april and based on Aba3Simple2, which doesn’t have any sidebars.
In Mozilla Firefox both cached theme’s display correctly….
However more than 60% of the visitors use ie so I would really like to sort this out….
