I upgraded to wp 3.9 today and also downloaded easy google fonts. Yes, I watched the video.
I have my page set to “no slider”and “no featured pages” for now because I don’t want to wait to publish until I get all the pictures sized properly and the slider moved to the bottom of the page.

When I go to settings>google fonts in the WP Dashboard, I get the menu to create your own control fonts. When I click on “Customiz it” I see my page with THEIR slider at the top and 3 blank spaces for featured pages before most of my home page appears. I can’t put that on the web.
I was able to make changes to the fonts and colors in Customizr but can’t preview them in regular WP. And (related?) I could not create menus with my pages until I “published” from WP. Now I can’t preview changes to the pages — is that because they are “published”?

There isn’t a slider on my existing site. I will not publish with the slider until I have it where I want it. But it looks like you are pointing me in the right direction. Thank you!!
