I’m afraid your solution just won’t cut it. First of all, all my questions are “required questions” and whoever is hitting my form is simply answering them all wrong. That’s why his score is zero. Adding a CAPTCHA question will only create one more opportunity for him to get it wrong.

Furthermore, I can’t understand what this fellow gains by flooding my database with empty quizzes and fake email addresses. What I do know is that I still have the plugin deactivated and it will probably have to stay that way.

The real solution would be to add a captcha field in the registration form at the beginning of the process. A honeypot field would also probably do the trick. But, of course, you guys want to cash in on the deficiency and you elect to put out crippleware instead.

I guess I’ll end up removing QSM altogether.

By the way, I installed hCapcha on my site bur QSM doesn’t appear as one of the supported plugins. Instead QSM wants me to install the reCapcha plugin which sells for over $100. I’d rather just remove QSM altogether and be done with the problem.

You should also know that I’ve been using Akismet for years as well as the “WP Image CAPTCHA” plugin. I’ll look into those other captcha plugins that you suggested.

It’s not that I can’t pay the $50, so don’t try to paint me as a cheapskate. But this morning alone I received over 20 “testimonials” that were nothing but Spambot hits.
That makes the CAPTCHA feature essential for your plugin to be any good. Otherwise, it’s “crippleware”.

I don’t have the free version. I have the paid version. The problem is that Tips & Tricks won’t answer your emails or allow you to post in their forum unless you pay their annual maintenance fee.

I understand that they need to make money, but this type of “simple stuff” should be free. I know it’s not simple for me (because I studied communications, not coding) but for them it must be.

I would hate to install a different plugin because ,leaving this little issue aside, the plugin is great. We’ll see.

As for the CSS code, I tried it and it didn’t work.

I use the code below for my regular images, but it does nothing to the thumbnails produced by WP Lightbox Ultimate.

I must be missing something here.

I updated the plugin to 1.2.0, created a headline and placed the shortcode on my page. Then, when I visit the front end, nothing happens. Where is the floating headline supposed to appear?

Thank you Mike for your prompt response. Apparently this solution won’t work for me because my survey page is not included in the menus. It lives as an independent page that you can only access through its URL.

And just so you know, in case it matters, I’m not using the block editor either. I prefer the old one.

Any hope for me?

1. I can’t see the reviews in the plugin control panel either.

4. I don’t know when the reviews disappeared.

5. I went ahead and upgraded WordPress to version 4.4 and nothing happened (good or bad) as far as this issue is concerned. The reviews still aren’t there.

By the way, my theme is Catch Responsive Pro and I’m running version: 4.5.3, which is the latest. I also tried deactivating the rest of my plugins and that didn’t help either.

Sorry that I took some time to reply but I was working on the latest episode of my podcast that goes live tomorrow.

I did everything that you suggested. I installed twentynineteen and activated it and turn off all my plugins and the problem prevailed. I then downloaded a fresh copy of WordPress and replaced everything except the wp-content.php file and the content folder. The problem prevailed. Now I’m convinced that the problem is in the database.

I was thinking. Is there a way to extract all the content from this blog and bring it into a fresh installation? That way I would create everything new (including the database and only import the copy and images.

Does that make any sense?
