Thanks, yes, increasing memory fixed it, and the plugin update worked this time.
Added this to my wp-config.php file: define(‘WP_MEMORY_LIMIT’, ‘512M’); define(‘WP_MAX_MEMORY_LIMIT’, ‘512M’);
