In reply to: [Optimizer] Searching attachmentsThanks for replying first of all.
So I tried what you said and the results does not change. It doesnt matter if the image is uploaded as media or attachment. Either way the results are displayed as a post. Even if it is ONE single image, it shows up as a post. So my users have to click on the post first to open the page containing the image AND THEN click on the image to view.
All I want is to directly display the images on the result page. So which ever image users wants to enlarge, he/she can do so by clicking on it.
I believe that its your theme feature as for past two weeks I have been going crazy with all the search plugins and end up with the same result. I even wrote to plugin authors and they told me to ask you as it is a theme feature.
I am sure there must be someway of doing it.
Thanks

In reply to: [Optimizer] Searching attachmentsI just solved half of the issue. I used Search Everything plugin and it filters out the attachments for me. However,
The result page shows up the image in a post. Even if there is only 1 image in the result, the result page shows it in a post, and when I click on the post a new page opens up showing the image thumbnail. And then to view the image I have to click on thumbnail How can I make the result page, display the image/images thumbnails directly on the result page, rather than showing them as a post/posts? So that I only have to click once to view the image.
Thanks
Hi Mikko,
I just simplified my website. I am not using nextGen anymore. All I am doing is uploading gallery through WordPress default feature. That is ==> first creating a post ==> add media ==> create gallery ==> upload images ==> set images as “attachments”.
So after doing that, I indexed relevanssi, and as a result it does find my image, however, on the search page it shows that image as a post, rather than directly showing that image.
What I mean is when I click on search, a page comes up with a post containing the relevant image. I then have to click on the post, and a new page opens up containing the image. I then have to click on the image to open it via lightbox.
How can I directly get to the required page containing the image? I hope thats possible through Relevanssi.
Thanks
Hi Mikko,
Thanks a lot for replying.
I just tried out what you said, and its half success and half failure. The relevanssi does index all my tags and even suggests it when I start writing on the search bar. (Previously I had not achieved that). And when I type in the tag and hit enter, the result comes up with “Hello World” sample post instead of images.
Now to clarify, I am using Nextgen gallries and I did even tick the checkboxes where it says ngg_pictures, ngg_galleries. But still no success.
Any help will be appreciated.

In reply to: [Ultimate WP Query Search Filter] Search Media??Hi bpebble,
I am searching exactly for what you are. Did you find out a way to search images just by typing in the tag on search bar?
I am using Ultimate WPQSF but it only return posts (galleries) and not individual images.
Your help will be appreciated.

In reply to: [Optimizer] How to share a photo post from the website?just tried that one out as well,
This one does allow sharing photos, but the widget is located down at the bottom of page,
whereas I am looking for something to share each photo indivudally. I.E when the photo is clicked upon, it pops up on the screen and should have a bar at the bottom/top giving an option to share.
Nevermind, i will keep seraching, and if i find any i will post it in here.
Thanks.Forum: Themes and Templates
In reply to: [Optimizer] How to share a photo post from the website?I have tried searching WP Pugin Repo but no success. Is there any other plugin that you can suggest.
Because the plugins i get from my search are those that allow you to post on your own social media page, but does not allow users to post on their social media sites.Help is appreciated

In reply to: [Optimizer] I can not replace the subject in the headeroh thanks Flash Buddy!
You just saved the day for me.
The text and the logo is actually present in “Slider Options” ==> Static Slide Settings ==> Content ==> Editor box. However since the text is in white, it is not visible. So just by clicking on the text editor and selecting the “Text” tab, you can see all of it there.
Thanks thanks and thanks again.
