I am wondering if this is a bug in wordpress where email alerts do not work on subdomains. This is quite frustrating, no new user emails, no new comment emails ??

Same problem for me. Another issue is that I dont get the comment notification email anymore either.

Both used to work for me. Then I moved my blog from https://www.asgerally.com/blog to https://yusuf.asgerally.com and ever since the move its stopped working. I posted a question here but never got any feedback ??

quite disapointed. It makes managing my blog very unmangeable.

Please does anyone have a solution to this. This is causing me alot of problems, in moderating comments on a timely basis, and more importantly users are unable to signup because the system is not sending out their temporary passwords.

I started this post a while ago but have not received any replies. Its very hard, because I do not get any new comment notification and new users do not get their auto passwords and can’t signup.

Please if anyone knows an answer to this let me know..

Right now I am using a public theme but would like to create my own. any suggestions on what kind of theme would go with this kind of blog would be appreciated.

Thank you guys for your comments. The design was one that i found online, but i modified the colors to match my theme.

The font i’ve set to papyrus, but I will also set up a secondary font family in case you don’t have the papyrus font so the heading does not default to the original small font face.

I am also suffering from this annomaly. The sad part was that it was working for me, untill i moved my blog from a subfolder (www.asgerally.com/blog) to its own sub domain (https://yusuf.asgerally.com)

Ever since i made this move my email alerts have stopped working. Please someone help me if anyone knows an amswer to this. It does not seem to be answered in any of the previous posts.

I saw some other posts on this topic where some users mentioned that their host had blocked form created mail, i’ve checked on this and its not the case with me. I even changed the receiving address from gmail to yahoo to my own domain but its still not working.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
