That worked, thank you so much. For other people wondering – this is a bug that happens when restoring your website using WP Clone plugin and the method above fixes it perfectly.

Thanks for the link, but that did not solve my problem.

The conclusion in that post is to change the .htaccess with settings that don’t make sense for my setup. That user was unable to access any page on his website. I AM able to access the real pages. The problem is that non-existing pages redirect to home page when they should return a 404.

Any other ideas? Thanks in advance!
