In reply to: [Google Authenticator - WordPress 2FA, MFA, OTP SMS and Email] Style The FormHi @nikputhu,
You can certainly change the color of the buttons to match your branding using the White Labelling feature provided in the miniOrange 2-factor authentication plugin.
Using this feature you can change the button color, background, and text color of the 2FA login page/popups according to your website’s theme.
Let me know if you have any other questions.

Let me know which two factor authentication method you have configured and facing the issue with.
Also, let me know the 2FA plugin version number that you are using and I would try to replicate the issue on my end.
If found any issue, we will update the 2FA plugin and push it on WordPress.
Thanks and Regards,
miniOrange TeamHi @habilmu,
I think there is some confusion here as the miniOrange 2-factor Authentication plugin has no features to rewrite the .htaccess file.
Could you please confirm if you are getting the error when the miniOrange 2-factor Authentication plugin is activated?
If yes, could you please let me know the plugin version you are using? Thanks and Regards,

Hi @chcw,
In the miniOrange 2 factor authentication plugin, the “Send codes on email” button available on the 2FA login pop-up, sends five backup codes to your email, provided your SMTP is configured.
You can use these backup codes when in any case you are unable to log in with the 2FA method you configured. Each backup code can be used only once.
Let me know if you have any other questions or concerns.
Thanks,
miniOrange Team

miniOrange teamHi @chcw ,
Please check in the miniOrange 2-factor authentication plugin settings if the 2FA is enabled for all users and for the role of the user with which you are trying to log in.
Go to the miniOrange 2FA plugin settings, and check if the toggle is switched on for the option ‘Enable 2FA for Users’.
To enable 2FA for the user roles, scroll down to the bottom of the settings page, and then you need to check the checkbox corresponding to the roles specified.
Let me know if this works for you.
Thanks,
miniOrange Team
Hi?@deanbesmooth,
As I understand from your requirement, you want to use miniOrange’s Google Authenticator plugin to prompt 2FA to users once every month.
Let me know if you want to keep the session of the user for one month after logging in with 2FA or if you want to prompt 2FA one time among the multiple logins in a month.
We could certainly provide the functionality in the plugin as per your requirement.

Hi @junaidrs,
We haven’t heard back from you.
Were you able to enable 2-factor authentication for administrator and editor roles only from the plugin settings? We are closing this ticket as of now. You can reopen this ticket whenever required.
Thank you,
miniOrange teamHi @junaidrs,
As I understand from your requirement, you want to use miniOrange’s Google Authenticator plugin to prompt 2FA for the the admin and editor accounts only.
If you do not want your other customers to use 2-factor authentication, you can do so by unchecking the roles other than administrator and editor roles in the ‘Select user roles for 2FA’ in the plugin settings.
This way only the administrators and the editor will be prompted for 2-factor authentication(2FA) and the users with other roles will not be asked for 2FA.
Let me know if this works for you.

miniOrange teamHi?@assad1999,
As I understand, you are using Google Authenticator as your 2-factor authentication method and you are redirected to the login page even after a successful 2FA.
Could you let me know if you have tried logging in using other methods and facing the same error?
Do you see any error logs regarding our plugin in the WordPress debug log file?
Thank you,
