I’m also encountering another compatibility issue – sliders won’t display in widgets using shortcodes. I narrowed this down to the WP External Links plugin I’m using, however, your plugin is the common denominator here and if I disable it everything else works. All 3 plugins were working together successfully when originally installed, over a year ago.

In reply to: [Download Monitor] Problems following latest updateOK – thanks … I’ll just have to change all the stylesheets – again!

In reply to: [Download Monitor] Problems following latest updateThanks for the update, however, the styles in frontend.css now take precedence over those in my 60 websites, so the background image reverts to default and the spacing is out. Although I am now able to remove 2 of the extra lines I added to the stylesheets to correct the previous issue, I now have to add !important to 2 existing ones! My settings have been working happily for years…
.filetype-doc,
.filetype-docx {
background-image:url(images/document-doc.png) !important;
background-size: 20px 20px;
padding: 5px 0 5px 24px !important;
}Are you able to do anything about this? So far I have only applied the update to one site because I’m not keen on having to update 60 stylesheets!
Thanks

In reply to: [Download Monitor] Problems following latest updateThanks. There’s another issue I noted in my first post:
‘Clicking on a category in the Categories column takes me to the website home page’
This used to do a WordPress search of documents in that category. It would actually be more useful if it filtered on the selected category rather than doing a WordPress search but at the moment it takes you completely out of the Download Monitor interface to the website home page and is annoying!
Best wishes

In reply to: [Download Monitor] Problems following latest updatePlease could you reply to the initial problem I reported:
Downloads can’t be filtered by category in the list of entries – selecting a category from the drop-down & filtering makes no difference
Clicking on a category in the Categories column takes me to the website home pageI have about 60 websites all using this plugin so would be grateful if you could fix this bug.
Thanks

In reply to: [Download Monitor] Problems following latest updateThanks for your quick reply. The template isn’t so much of a problem as I just have to add a couple of lines to the stylesheet – just tedious. The category issues are a problem, as is the New Document interface & these issues are nothing to do with my custom template.
How can I send screenshots/code?

In reply to: [Download Monitor] Problems following latest updateThere have also, fairly recently, been updates to the Downloadable Files/Versions section of the New Download interface. The Amazon S3 & Google Drive options can’t be switched off & cause confusion for my customers – the websites I support are all schools which manage their own content and have limited abilities when it comes to updating their website. You have also now (latest update?) removed the need to click Add New to upload a file as there is an entry already created – this would be fine, except that it’s closed by default, so my customers are likely to end up creating multiple entries.
I love the plugin – it is really useful for managing school documents and has been working very well up to now.

In reply to: [Max Mega Menu] Mobile menu colour settings aren’t appliedMany thanks… it took me a while to find where the CSS was generated as it was in my theme settings.

Many thanks… the widget works really well and keeps the Events Manager shortcodes – which get mangled on swapping – away from the page. I just need to remember not to switch editing modes in the widget – I didn’t even realise the Text widget had a Visual mode!
Sorry to be thick! I can’t work out how to upload an image. The only image editing option on this box requires a URL. Pasting doesn’t work. I have tried with Firefox & Chrome
