In reply to: Plugin to allow users to link social accountsI haven’t checked every single one, but all the ones I’ve looked at are based on user registration, not invitation.
It turns out WordPress Social Login (linked above) does have a system where you can whitelist specific email addresses. So you don’t create their accounts ahead of time, but you add their emails to the whitelist and then you can let them know to self-register.
Good enough

In reply to: [Customizr] Full-width posts/pages for tablets/phonesI would also like to be able to center the post/page on the front page. I was able to do this in firebug by setting margin to 0 auto 0 auto (I kept the width 50%). That worked, but again, I can’t find entry-content.

In reply to: [Customizr] Full-width posts/pages for tablets/phonesUsing firebug, I found a selector called entry-content with width set to 50%. That seems to be the key. However, I can’t find that in the .css. Where else would it be? I have never messed with wordpress templates. I looked through the files in the wordpress editor and didn’t find anything that looked helpful.

In reply to: Blog feed as menu itemOk, here’s what I had to do: I made a new page called “News” and put it in the menu where I wanted it to go. Then I was able to see it in the drop down. I had to make it have a parent page, even though I picked it at random. So, I do now have a menu item called “News” in the right menu location that displays the blog posts. What a strange way. Instead of going to the page News with the dummy text I put in, it goes to the blog posts. Still don’t know what is up with the drop down as far as the menu structure being out of date. Hmmm
Thanks for pointing me in the right direction. Got it all worked out now.

In reply to: Blog feed as menu itemGreat suggestion! That almost works. Strangely, the menu structure in the dropdown is out of date — does not reflect current state of menu. I’ve tried refreshing page, a different browser, etc. Strange.

In reply to: Blog feed as menu itemSorry, maybe I didn’t explain myself well. I want to have the link to the blog feed, but I have no idea how to do it. I can’t figure out why About>About goes there. I would rather have the blog at Members>News, but I don’t want to mess with the current menu structure until I figure out how to do what I want to do intentionally.
Right now https://www.arielbalter.com/gardenpark/about links to the blog. Where do I set that?

In reply to: [Ultimate Wordpress Auction Plugin] Almost perfect.I don’t get this at all. I tried going to my auction, and when I tried to bid or buy I was taken to a wordpress login screen. I was of course logged out as admin at the time. Even tried in a different browser before ever logging in.
How does a user actually bid?
