Sorry to hear that you’re facing this issue. I assume you’re using PHP version less than 7.3.5. I would recommend you to update your PHP version since it’s not recommended to use the PHP version less than 7.3.5.

Hope you’re doing well. Yes, You can import any posts from another WP website into BetterDocs.
First of all, Go to your WordPress Dashboard -> Tools -> Export. Then, export the Post from this section. Please check: https://d.pr/MsCLbL
Afterward, search this term: post_type. Please check: https://d.pr/i/6uvd1c
Now, replace all the ‘epkb_post_type_1’ with ‘doc_category’ and for tags, replace them with ‘doc_tag’. Please check: https://d.pr/i/rBFgy1
After you have finished doing so, simply just save the file. Before completing the next step, make sure that you have BetterDocs plugin installed. Then go to your WordPress Dashboard -> Tools -> Import and import the .XML file to your WordPress site.

Thank you for your query. Well,the UPDATE button works for updating your destination link. For example, If you want to modify your destination link then you’ll modify the link and click on the update button. And the other button works for copying your modified/updated link.
