The site in question does not consist of posts, but static pages (or rather: a static home page plus two more pages for imprint and contact). The keywords (or rather: the entered focus keyphrase) is definitely not highly competitive either. Actually, when searching for the keyphrase word for word, the site does not appear on Google at all.

I see. That’s too bad… I’ll see if I can do anything in the code that’ll survive theme updates, otherwise I guess that’s just the way it is.

thanks for the reply!
Is there a way for the theme to use the given text in the “Excerpt” section?
Because right now it “smushes” into one continuous piece of text, ignoring the line breaks in the text of the post (see the page I linked in the OP) which is not ideal, since we put the author and the reading duration to the top.
