Sorry I never came back to this. It looks like your wordpress database lists the image attachment as a PDF, and the plugin tries to replace it with an embed. You should see if you can correct the post_mime_type for dsc_0035.

If you use the shortcode, you can specify height to whatever you want. Unfortunately, there’s no way to set it to a multiple of the page height of the PDF you’re embedding or something.

As of 0.0.8, you can also specify open_params which can change how the PDF is displayed in the embed frame — though few browsers support many of the parameters.

Looks like you resolved the issue by redirecting to the www. domain. I’m not sure what the problem could’ve been.

This is almost certainly not true, and I’m going to need way more detail to be able to help you with anything.

This is a limitation of your browser, not the plugin. Anyone with a browser that supports embedding PDFs will of course see it embedded, rather than just the download link.

Can you explain what happens when you use it and provide an example? I’d be happy to help you fix this.

Can you provide a link to an example demonstrating this? I want to see if the height is being emitted properly. You might also have CSS that’s setting the height.

This is not a bug in the plugin — some browsers just don’t support embedding PDFs.

There is no way to disable the print button, nor should you try. If you need the PDF document to be unprintable, do not publish it online.

I happily accept patches, if you want to contribute to upstream.

Your CSS sets the height of the embed to 100%, so it fills the page vertically.

The best practice for preventing people from downloading anything you put on the internet, PDFs included, is to not try to do that. They can and they will and there is nothing nothing nothing you can do about it.

Works fine for me — this sounds like a browser bug.
