I was able to get into the hacked page and remove the concent on the page. I added the white page with the link so people can at least see the calendar. The original main page is lost. Once I am back from holiday I will rebuild the main page.

I did some testing in cpanel direct and could not upload anything there either. After contacting them they explained that they changed their security settings and I would need to add an php.ini file and update the .htaccess file.

After I did this it worked again.

Extra questions

Will I need to take the option “overwrite” and will this keep those extra files in that folder?

What modus should I copy them in?

If I overwite wp content I will loose the extra theme I have. How can I save it and the themes adjustments?

Switched theme without effect.

Reset the plugins using PhpMyAdmin without effect

Still not able to upload pictures

re-uploading all files & folders – except the wp-content folder – from a fresh download of WordPress.

Deactivating all plugins didn’t help.
