In reply to: Blog ‘Forbidden’ and now can’t log into DashboardUpdate : Look like things are sorted.
I kept the permalink as /cor and changed the ‘Blog’ page slug from ‘blog’ to ‘news’, now all is sweet.
I have no idea why, but I quickly backed up just in case it decided to go wrong again!
Thanks so much for your help bh_wp_fan, appreciated.

In reply to: Blog ‘Forbidden’ and now can’t log into DashboardThank you thank you & thank you bh_WP_fan.
I followed your directions and managed to the into the c panel. And this put the styling back. Thank you!
I then changed the permalink from ‘/blog’ to ‘/test’, saved then changed ‘/test’ to ‘/blog’ and saved. Then I checked the site, still the same problem, getting the ‘forbidden’ error.
Then I thought I might have to do something in ‘Reading’ settings. So took a look. It still had ‘Home’ next to ‘Front Page’ and ‘Blog’ next to ‘Posts page’.
So I changed the ‘Post page’ to ‘Gallery’ to see if that would display the blog. And it did! Luckily ‘Gallery’ was still a blank page.
So I then re-named ‘Gallery’ to ‘Blog’ and created a new ‘Gallery’ Page. It was still working at this point.
Then I saw the blog page was displaying as https://www.c-o-r.co.uk/civilisation_of_the_rough/about
So I went into the Blog page ‘Quick Edit’ and changed the slug from ‘about’ to ‘Blog’. Now I’m getting the Forbidden error again. This made me think maybe there is a conflict somewhere with the title ‘Blog’. Being fairly not technical and new to this I though it might be because the permalink was still ‘/blog’. So I changed it to ‘/cor’,but alas, still the same Forbidden message when visiting the Blog page ‘ https://www.c-o-r.co.uk/civilisation_of_the_rough/blog/ ‘.
Don’t suppose you have another magic link you could send that might shed light on my quandary??
Thanks again for your help so far.
Mark.
