“Free” doesn’t allways mean “Great Service”! Know what I mean ?

Double-check with your friend and go over his wp-config.php file. You’ll probably find the solution there. If not, try re-installing, according to WP guidelines, or just follow the steps your friend followed for a succesful install of WP.

I just checked my own site in IE. It doesn’t show any Gravatar at all! I’d be glad to see someone come up with a solution for this problem.

Bauble, sorry, no examples. It was just an instant idea.
Try using boxes. I allways rely on Owen’s tutorials (https://thenoodleincident.com/tutorials/box_lesson/boxes.html).
Or does anyone have a better idea?

Why not making 2 colums in your sidebar.php file using CSS ?

Thanks Kaf, I’ll put this on my to-read list. But there’s no plugin available, is there? That should be handy for people like me, that don’t have any PHP-skills. I’ll give it a try.

@ Damon: Correct! The original question was how to implement gravatars in the recent comments plugin. Not how to install it! I want this plugin to use the gravatar functions. Can anybody help?

@penda: I hope you can figure it out. I’ve allready bookmarked this topic.

The last plugin I tried to install was the Top Commenters one, but I deleted both the functions called in the index.php file, as well as the plugin in the plugin-folder.

Is it possible this caused the problem?
