In reply to: [WooCommerce] Inventory removes on its own : Faire IntegrationI understand — thanks for trying to help me on the Woocommerce end! I’m not receiving any replies on the Faire plugin side. :'(
Updating inventory on the Woocommerce side doesn’t create any problems. The numbers all update perfectly to Faire.
Updating inventory on the Faire side doesn’t change the numbers at all on Woocommerce. I’m not sure if it’s supposed to — I had asked them about this when I was first integrating but never received a response.
I thought of some other significant things to note:
- The errors always show that I have less inventory than I do.
- The stock level will go into the negatives, but in both Woocommerce and Faire I have back-ordering turned off.
- The errors build over time. Not immediately, not on all products, and not all at once. The discrepancies start about a day after updating and keep building. (despite having no sales)
- The discrepancies seem to happen only on products that I sell often, so I wonder if it’s pushing through orders from Faire over and over?

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Inventory removes on its own : Faire IntegrationThank you so much for your reply, Zubair!
It is a plugin — just called “Faire for Woocommerce”
If I adjust inventory on the Woocommerce side it will adjust it on Faire. But if I sell something on Faire it is supposed to adjust it in Woocommerce as well.
I’ve noticed the biggest errors in inventory since I switched the Order Sync Mode to “sync orders automatically”, but I’m not sure if this is the cause.
Here are the plugin settings:
Thank you!

In reply to: [Faire for WooCommerce] Backend product buttons not workingOh my gosh, you are so right! These products are not linked to Faire so the fields were just blank. I added data and was able to update/publish! Would be nice if it generated a kickback error message at the top because I never tried it with those fields visible. Thanks so much!!

In reply to: [WooCommerce Shipping & Tax] How to Get Tax Breakdown Report?Hi Phillip! Thanks for your help.
I imported all Historical Data as you suggested but saw no change to the report.
As requested, I can just use the Analytics Report.
However, in order to get any data from the Analytics Tax Report it appears I have to hand-enter tax information for each WA city under Woocommerce > Settings > Tax > Standard Rates. Is this correct? I believe the Shipping & Tax app pulls the tax rates from somewhere else so is there a way that I can use/access that info??
WA state does have a CSV document I can upload under Standard Rates with the taxes for all 377 cities in WA, however, when I import this the Analytics report doesn’t match up the correct cities/tax rates to the sales properly. I am theorizing the Analytics Report matches data up based on zip code, which is not included in the WA State Tax Document. (And there are wayyyy more zip codes than cities)
Here’s what it looks like: Analytics Tax Report
The first line with 38 sales should be Olympia, WA with a 9.4% tax rating.
The second line with 30 sales is a totally random assortment of cities!!
None of the cities or tax % in the report are correct. I made sure to format the CSV the same way as the example provided under Standard Tax Rates but just don’t have those zip codes is the only thing I can see.
Thanks!

In reply to: [WooCommerce Shipping & Tax] Shipping and Taxes Won’t Show on CheckoutHi @frosso1 ,
I am now suddenly having the same issue. I checked and jetpack is connected to wordpress.com.
It is calculating shipping rates on the back end for me to buy shipping labels but only displays the fallback rate for customers on the front end.
Thanks for your help!

In reply to: [WooCommerce Shipping & Tax] USPS API not authorizedI believe the WooCommerce USPS Shipping plugin is the one that is $79 a year. Maybe they’re kicking us off the free one :'(
I’m having the same issue.

In reply to: [WooCommerce Shipping & Tax] USPS rates not connected any moreI am having the same issue. I designated a fallback rate in settings, so it’s just charging that. Hope they fix it soon as my shipping costs vary widely!
I stand corrected — I guess that is the app I am using but I can’t find that menu. Went to the WooCommerce Shipping and Tax support and see others are suddenly having the same issue and no place to input new API.
Thanks @rainfallnixfig + @gregorywundertre !
I’m not sure mine is the same issue, as I am just using the shipping option that comes with WooCommerce, not a separate WooCommerce Shipping and Tax app. So I can’t seem to find an area to enter any sort of USPS user name. I don’t even have the menu section described in that feed!
That thread on Github is now closed but I’ll start a new one!
My website is no longer pulling USPS rates either. I didn’t update anything — it just suddenly stopped working.
It will pull up rates on the back end to ship an order, but the front end won’t calculate a price for a customer — It just uses the fallback rate I set.
Help!

In reply to: Can’t change site’s featured imageMy theme developer helped me find it! I had checked my Yoast settings but on the “home” page there are more yoast tabs I didn’t see past the main one, which I had checked — it was hidden in there, set years and years ago!
Thanks for trying to help!

In reply to: Can’t change site’s featured imageSorry that wasn’t clear — I meant when I share just my regular website url on a social media platform. Not a specific page or post, just the main url.
As in https://www._________.com
I can set featured images for specific pages just fine, but not the main url. The featured image for the page titled and marked “home” does not change it and I can’t find it anywhere else.
Oh okay — thanks!
Hi @vapemex , I’m not sure if this is what you are asking:
First, you would create different product categories (“groups”) for the products — listed in Products > Categories, or on the right side in an individual product page.
Then if you go to Product>Categories>”Edit” on whichever one you want, there will be a wholesale section where you can put in the discount for products in that category. You can also do a discount based on quantity purchased here too.
Hope that helps!
