I have used the shortcode on multiple ocassions without the tabs & toggles and never experienced any problems with it. This brings me back to something you mentioned about “not being able to test the shortcode because the plugin couldn’t be used locally”…

As far as I know, the shortcode feature I use isn’t a plugin, but rather built into the WordPress Blocks that are freely available when an account is created.

I haven’t tried the toggles outside the tabs because the tabs are what separate the information…kind of like a filing system, which keeps things organized. I can try it but that’s not how I want the information to appear.

If none of the options on the content panel keep the toggle boxes closed, then why won’t it open when I click on it in the preview screen? And why do the toggles disappear between the edit screen and the preview screen…when the way I set them up is identical to the first 4 set of tabs and toggles in the container?

I guess I didn’t mention I did that…several times! It kept coming back. However, I just figured out how to solve the issue for good :).

I had to change the box style from Accordion to columns and then delete it. Not sure why it wouldn’t delete it as the accordion style but it’s gone now, permanently.

Thank you for this but I’m not sure what to do after it’s installed, as I’m not seeing any difference. Do I need to delete the WP Advanced Comment plugin for this one to work? Yes, now the comment box is showing up because I grew tired of waiting for a fix and installed the WP Advanced comment plugin today. @leopardct, you might want to try the same thing if you continue to experience the same issue. I wonder if anyone monitors this site? I am still waiting for some assistance with this issue.

I am having this same issue with my buddyboss theme. I followed their instructions and went to “screen options” checked the discussion and comment boxes, then scrolled down and checked the “allow comments” box and then clicked “update.” Still after doing that there is no comment box showing up on my individual posts. I dont post comments on the pages as that is just the directory to get to the posts. Is there something I’m missing? After posting this message, a fix was created and worked for a short time but then I think because buddypress updated their plugin the filter has stopped working again. Is there another fix coming soon?

Thank you for the help. Since I can’t do a group page chat is there a way that I can add a member login, so site visitors don’t have access to the chat page? This is kind of an experiment right now and I’m not ready to commit to the pro version until I have enough active members using the chat feature on a regular basis.

Also, is there a way to delete posts, as I am testing stuff and when it actually goes live I don’t want all the testing stuff I do to show up.
