somehow it works per site… my fault ??

Hi David,

In this case I would like to create somekind of a “groups manager” for members in their user admin area and groups page, so they can control where they belong with checkboxes.

Basically I would like to disable them to leave group with the “leave group” button, and make them use the “group manager”.

Perfect solution would be that they could “leave only private group” with the button, and use the “manager” for public groups.

Basically I’m trying to achieve that members cannot mess up with the hierarchy that I set up. Those are PUBLIC groups.

Members should be able to create only lowest level PRIVATE groups in the hierarchy and to disable them to create subgroups of their groups.

However, that’s why I thought this would be the right place to discuss my issue… I will try on BP forums also..

I did that last night, did’t help…

I just did the DB cleanup and optimize with a plugin and it somehow worked…. not sure what it was…

Ok, will try that out.

However I have a situation now, and I’m NOT saying is caused by your plugin, and not expecting any help, but since you have cookies knowledge I believe you could point me into the right direction…

I tried many cookies plugins last night, disabled and deleted them all and left yours active.

Now, I believe that one of the cookie plugins left some garbage in the DB and can’t figure out which and what… The problem is now that I cannot access my pages and posts in the %postname% permalink stricture anymore, exactly nothing else works than the default permalink structure. Which would not be such a problem if I didn’t have links published on FB and that way people cannot reach my posts and pages anymore from FB.

Tried all kind of tricks with .htaccess file

Any help would be much appreciated.

– “Add to Members Directory:” does not show in the same child theme
– Options for each site, in each site admin, not in network admin… I don’t use all fields for search on all subsites…

What do you think about suggestions I wrote in this post?

it should work, since buddypress is using WP avatars…

under that tab, the user should be able to select few “subtabs”

“all notifications”
“activity notifications”
“notification settings” which would allow him to change own settings
“other notifications…”

I think this feature would be very useful, this way user could easily add links and forget about selecting button.

also the preview button could be removed and set to auto-preview?

few updates for them:
1. this way it will be impossible to get 0 results page

2. I’ve never seen this before, but maybe having 3 dropdowns to select “my age, or available ages”, “plus/minus/both”, “numbers, 3, 5, 10..” I believe it would be interesting…

3. dividing widgets would make it much easier to fit them properly in the theme…

I would also suggest few options:
1. auto submit after each change.
after submitting to narrow down available filters, not to show all of them at all times…. but if a filter is selected then to narrow down the further filter option to only the ones are available in the current list of members…

2. Age dorpdowns:
a) to predifine in the options the age ranges and then have the dropdown with those ages (standard filtering)

b) but to be still possible to select your own age range, then the idea I’ve never seen before is, to have dropdown for each (minimum and maximum possible) age range.

if auto submit is used and narrow options, then when minimum dropdown is opened it should show all possible ages from minimum to maximum available in current memebr list, and when selected, then in the maximum dropdown to show only from current minimum to maximum available age from current users list.

3. To be able to divide the widgets, so in one widget user would have one group of fields, and in the other another group of fields. User should be able to select which fields to use in the widget backend.
