Thanks so much for all your help. All we need now is less padding on the widget. On a mobile phone only the widget needs 10 or 15 pixels max padding left and right. May I have CSS for that?

One last thing. See how some of the text is black instead of white at the top? I managesd to make most of it white but not all and it looks choppy. Is there CSS that will make all the text white?

Thanks very much! It’s better, as you can see. Now the entire background of the widget is darker than the theme. Any other ideas?

I see that there was no custom css in the child theme, and I had to add this to get the formatting to work:

#site-logo {
   max-width: inherit;
}
#site-navigation ul li a {
    color: #000; 
}
#site-navigation ul li ul.children a, #site-navigation ul li ul.sub-menu a {
    color: #000;
}
#site-navigation ul li:hover a {
    color: #333;
}

It’s working now but I don’t understand what went awry. Any thoughts?

Ahah! The plugin hasn’t been updated for wp 4.4. I’m using Google Analytics Dashboard for WP.

Okay, I see that Adblock is the problem. After turning off adblock, the plugin works. Does this mean that visitors with Adblock will not see the ads?
