I played around activating/deactivating WP SEO, even reinstalling earlier version and updating back and after last activating/deactivating got my sitemap back…

Hi, I get a 404 for my site map since the upgrade. SEO V. 1.7.1 Disabled all plugins to no avail. I resetted the Default Settings as suggested by @evaeskilsson but I’m still having the 404 error. I tried to directly go to https://sylvieadams.com/sitemap_index.xml but alsways brings me back to www. and page not found.

If anyone would have a suggestion on how to solve this it would greatly be appreciated.

Hello, thanks for answering! I can understand that after the share, FB is handling the content, but what I have a hard time understanding is why the image disappears when I share when I’m logged in WordPress, and why it shows while I share when I’m logged out. This means I will have to log out of WP everytime I want to share my posts so that the featured image will show in FB?

I’ve noticed that a few users mentionned a similar problem – image disappearing from sharing posts. Maybe it’s the same situation – if you try sharing a post while your not logged in the WP account it works but it would not work for them – because they were logged in….

I’ve submitted a test batch and it went out 2 days after scheduled submit.
Tried another one today and was sent out 9 minutes after. But when I look at the Submits page it says it was submitted yesterday…

I’ve read a bit about RDFa and I tried also

I’ve found the string to translate, if you look into WPML/translation management/Multilingual Content Setup/admin string to translate/[plugin: woocommerce-multilingual] wpseo_internallinks/translate (I use woocommerce multilingual with WPML and WooCommerce) it brings you to the strings to translate. But once translated the string does not appear translated in the breadcrumbs although the slug is correctly translated. I’ve opened a ticket with WPML support, hopefully they will have an answer https://wpml.org/forums/topic/wp-seo-custom-post-type-archives-title-does-not-translate/

For @semibur, I’m stuck with a similar problem – WPML does not seem to pick up the strings for translation. Have you checked with wpml support?

No it does not. The string “No events today” still does not get picked-up by WPML. And deactivating the EM compatibility creates more issues with translations.

I Angelo, I was afraid to try changing the permalink structure on my main site so I tried the whole thing on a test site: wwww.sylvieadams.com/essai/events

Saving the default WP permalink and only EM and WPML plugins activated, I could not even go to my French page événements it was returning a 404, even before the filter by date. And no matter how many times I saved the permalinks settings to default, it would not resolve the missing links. So I returned back to my custom permalinks.

The problem persists as when I go to
https://sylvieadams.com/essai/fr/evenements and click on 15 Jun, I get a 404. I also get a 404 if I click on WPML language selector flag on top of the page.

No, I’ve decided not to use the Events Calendar, because I need my plugins to be multilingual. Thanks
