    No, I never found a way to fix it… I just put that link on its own line and made the whole sentence a link, instead of just one word. It works that way though.

    Okay, it’s fixed. Sorry about that. Anyone know what may be causing the lines?

    Uh… whoa. I had no idea it was doing that. I’ll try to fix it. Nothing on my site is password protected. I’ll try to fix it…

    Actually, I just fixed it all, so never mind. ?? I’m proud of myself. I actually knew how to fix it…lol. Thanks to everyone who posted with advice and help. I hope this does not happen again.

    How do I back up everything in case it does happen again? Is there an easy way to back up all my files at once on a regular basis?

    Also, I am deleting files that the hacker left behind. In the folder “.trash” there is a file called “.trash_restore” and the file itself says:
    “=/home/report/
    index.php=/home/report/index.php”
    Could I use this file to restore my old index file? Or should I delete it? Is there any way to easily restore everything the way it was?

    My host reset the passwords for my Cpanel and FTP account, but now I have a new problem. The hacker also changed the password for my WP login, so I used PHPMyAdmin to reset it. Unfortunately, for some reason now my 37report.com/wp-login.php file won’t work. When I try to access it, it redirects me to 37report.com/wp-admin and says the file is not available. Does anyone know why this might be?

    I don’t know if anyone is still reading this thread because I haven’t posted again since starting it. It turns out the hackers changed the passwords for my Cpanel and my FTP accounts, so I cannot log in to do anything. It takes my host (Netrillium.net) days to respond to anything, and they don’t have a phone number posted on their website in the spot next to “Phone number:” so I can’t call them. I’m not sure what I’m going to do to fix my site, but I did install a more powerful firewall, and I doubt any hacker will be able to get through. I’m still angry this happened. I might just shut down my site. I don’t have the motivation or time to entirely write another layout for my site, and I haven’t found a pre-made one that I like. Yay. If anyone does read this, write a response, and maybe we can still figure something out.

    It worked! Thank you SO much for your help. Is there anything at all I can do to prevent this from happening again? I’ll definitely make sure I backup my entries and template code from now on. Thank you again. I’m so grateful. ??

    Yay, my host takes forever to respond to anything. I’m checking my CPanel to see if it’s there. Also, do you think the fact that someone hacked into my site has something to do with the security (or lack thereof) of my hosting company? Or could it happen to even the most stable server?

    Okay, this is probably a stupid question, but how would I access it if I had it? 37report.com/phpmyadmin? Or /phpmyadmin.php? I have no clue if I even have access to it.

    I’ll try this. Keep checking back, in case it doesn’t work. If not, maybe we can come up with something else to try. I’m not sure if my host has a backup. Even if not, it sucks my entries are gone, but I’ll deal with having to start over. I just don’t want to have to remake the template. I’ll post again in a few…

    lol, aww, okay. I fixed it. Thank you! Just out of curiosity, is there any way to move the entries up even more? The entry title is lining up with the sidebar line that says, “20 something writer…” Is there a way to make it line up with “The Writer”?

    I was unfamiliar with these tags, so I changed the color of each one to bright red, one by one, to see what it is. I found one called hmenu, which was right below the five links I have below the header. It seems that if I deleted that, it would move both columns up a little bit. Is that possible or can I not delete it?

    Let me know about these two things if you have time. I appreciate your help. ??

    It worked! Thank you!!! ?? Only one problem — when I did that, I lost all the spacing on the right side of the entries. Do you know where I can fix this…?
