Adam, yes of course I know that – I have been a WF user for many many years.

These were my questions

(2) Surely it is not necessary to display all this text – just up to the “important note part”?

(3) The message is misleading … “try again in a few minutes?” – (a) what if blocking has been set to 2 hours or more? (b) Clients with access to “admin” think that it applies to them as well.

(4) Why on earth should those other instructions appear to non admin users and more importantly, you are even telling a hacker what software we are using! This has got be a security problem!

(5) How do we remove this extended text? Surely, any administrator worth their salt will know how to proceed – they dont have to be told what to do.

Flags = We are already running 7.0 on all our sites and they all have the same problem of not showing the wordfence flags

Any other suggestions?

Thanks for the beta … but it made no difference, I am afraid. I used both installs (SFTP and then deleted and uploaded again). Shows the beta plugin correctly in the plugin listing. Definitely Airstory authenticated in user (who is an admin). Have https site. REST API working for other apps.

When I hit publish, a new tab is created with ID url and then “WordPress could not be reached”.

Is there something else I should be doing? Thanks for your help.

Such a great pity – the plugin is excellent! The developer obviously has problems with the reason it was removed.

Tried to get it from the develper’s site – but the zip is not the correct one – perhaps someone can contact the developer to put up a proper download site?

No, there is no reason to link up to sync anything with my website.

The instructions on the “Home” link of the plugin states clearly that the signup is optional so what does it want to sync?

I can quite clearly see the script which calls the js from addthis.com on the wordpress pages.
