In reply to: [WP YouTube Live] Yet another plugin that doesn’t workMaybe see if you are doing it correctly, it does work!
I think video must be ‘public’ for example.

In reply to: [Classic Editor] Explain DefaultsThe screenshot used in the plugin description suggests the opposite of what actually happens

Screenshot – “allow users to switch editor”: Yes
In Version 1.3 – “allow users to switch editor”: NoForum: Plugins
In reply to: [Classic Editor] Explain Defaults@emilysparkle what I am asking is, can the defaults be stated on the plugin web page – so that people know what to expect.
I do have a view as you what I’d like but as there are many differing opinions on this, and the plugin has (I think) changed over time, so it would be very helpful if the plugin page said:On installing and activating this plugin, “allow users to switch editor” will be OFF and “default editor” will be Classic.
Something like that anyway.

In reply to: [Classic Editor] 1.3At the moment no I do not think you would see a prompt to use Gutenberg. Defaults in 1.3 when you activate the plugin are:
‘Allow users to switch editors’ is set to NO
‘Default editor for all users’ is set to ClassicIn your own Profile, you do not see a Gutenberg editor option with these defaults.

In reply to: [Classic Editor] Logic bug in Classic Editor 1.0I like that the option to switch editor appears. I think users have to know that it exists and slowly start to start using the new editor.
In version 1.3, on activation it appears to set the option ‘Allow users to switch editors’ to NO so this does not show up unless changed. In my view, this should be set to YES by default.
I do agree that on activation that it sets ‘Default editor for all users’ to Classic by default – that is the basic point of installing this plugin in the first place.

In reply to: [Minimal Coming Soon – Coming Soon Page] Background imageThe text still says “Select an image or upload a new one”
Please can you correct this as I was fooled into thinking this plugin has this option.

In reply to: [Smart Grid-Layout Design for Contact Form 7] Add Rows no buttonNo errors in Javascript console in Firefox or Chrome. I’ve installed it on a plain vanilla WordPress site with no other plugins or themes to try and figure this one out.
Here’s the complete form
<div class="container" id="bsNHLc"> <div class="row"> <div class="columns full"> <div class="container cf7-sg-table" id="cf7-sg-table-1543318910568" data-button="Add New Row"> <div class="row cf7-sg-table"> <div class="columns one-half"> <div class="field"><label>test</label>[text text-105] <p class="info-tip"></p> </div> </div> <div class="columns one-half"> <div class="field"><label>test</label>[text text-106] <p class="info-tip"></p> </div> </div> </div> </div> </div> </div> </div> <div class="container"> <div class="row"> <div class="columns full"> <div class="field"><label></label>[submit "Submit"] <p class="info-tip"></p> </div> </div> </div> </div>

In reply to: [Smart Grid-Layout Design for Contact Form 7] Section TitlesThank you, that’s really helpful.
I think the argument against adding title tags (h1/h2/h3…) into your html text where you want to have a section title is that if you switch out of Grid mode in the WordPress editor you get amount a million <div> tags and it all gets rather scary!

In reply to: [Easy Registration Forms] Date FormatHi
Its how it is displayed that I am raising the point about.
When someone not used to seeing MM/DD/YYYY sees the date they have just picked displayed in that way, they can think the date picker is wrong and they have chosen the wrong date.
I’ve no issue with how the actual data is stored.
thankyouI’d find this useful too.
Another way would be to remove the shortcode from the UM registration/login pages, as well as having WordPress setting “Allow Registration” turned off.
I am finding that with the CloudFlare plugin enabled, that’s all I needed.
