Hi… Thanks for getting back to me.

I just tested it without logging into WordPress and the page is playing the podcast but I am still getting the 403 error on the backend.

When I wrote to the Publit.io people they got it to work on the front end, too. Here is their reply:

“So the published podcasts on the travelbetterpodcasts.com are working, right?
As I understand you are worried about external links to the files that PowerPress might use,
in which case it would be the best to ask them about it so you can add domain names to the Allowed Domains list for it to work.”

I do restrict domains and unfortunately it must be done globally within publit.io, so do you have any domains that I should add to allow my content to function properly? They also mentioned something about adding CNAMES but I would rather not because now it is getting complicated (and I think excessive) and hopefully that is unnecessary.

It is playing, it is just “Forbidden” and I’m not sure what that means.

The first player is a Gutenberg audio block and the second (at the bottom) is PowerPress.

I have used the same link in the 1st player as in the PowerPress player.

I am not using Publit.io’s plugin (which would be another way of posting media from publit.io)

I am finally figuring out how to clean all of the Wordfence garbage up. If you run into trouble with this these are the pages you need:
