In reply to: Shortcodes not working after 3.9.2 updateYes, I’m having the same issue, but only in my site’s sidebars.
Here’s an example of what’s happening on our site:

Website is edegreeadvisor.com using the Vantage theme. I’m including a screenshot because out of necessity, I’ll be replacing these with plain HTML links tonight, but we’d like our pretty buttons and sidebar content protection back ??
On our site, the shortcodes for these buttons DO work in the page itself, but neither the shortcodes from MyThemeShop’s WP Shortcode plugin (the buttons) nor Paid Membership Pro (which is supposed to protect part of the content in that top widget) nor the WPLB plugin n the sidebar work after the patch.
The issue has unfortunately re-emerged in version 2.0.10 – I’m having this exact problem on a client’s website after updating over the weekend. I posted more info on your support forums. Thank you!

In reply to: How can I share plug ins with non-admin?The Advanced Access Manager plugin above allows you to grant access to specific plugins and sections of your site based on user roles. You create a role or edit a current one (Subscriber, etc.) or you can grant permissions by individual user. Does that answer your question? I’ve used it on several sites where the client wanted users to be able to access only specific plugins or functionalities.

In reply to: dashboard is a blank white pageCan you tell us a little more about what you mean by “I logged in to my host site and used the file manager to do this with no success.”? Did you try disabling all of your plugins by (for example) renaming all of their sub-directories? Whenever I’ve had this problem, it’s always been due to a plugin conflict. Once you disable all of your plugins, you can change their names back via FTP, then re-enable them one by one to see which one makes your site go blank.

In reply to: How to clone theme and data if database is lost?>Is there a way that I can get back my theme
Yes. Your theme files should still be in the /wp-content/themes/yourtheme directory on your server.

Unless you have a backup copy of your data, I’m afraid this information isn’t stored on your theme files, just in your database. If you had no backup copy, I’m afraid that information is probably lost.

In reply to: Warning message when i want to loginHey Ryan,
Sounds like a theme issue. Unless you’re using one of WP’s default themes, you should try accessing your server via FTP and renaming or temporarily removing your current theme. This will make WordPress default to one of its pre-installed themes – hopefully this will make you able to see your site again!

In reply to: My website is suddenly gone…Bilonix,
You can log in to HostGator’s cPanel for your site, then look in the MySQL databases section. Your host should be set to localhost, and you should be able to find your database name, database username and possibly your password in the cPanel. HostGator’s tech support people should be able to check this for you, too. Hope that helps!

In reply to: [FancyBox for WordPress] Help! – No Space Between ThumbnailsYep, I’m actually having this problem as well. Disabled all plugins except FancyBox and no matter what I put into the padding field in the appearances tab of FancyBox, the padding doesn’t change and the thumbnails are all smooshed together:

I’m using the Bota theme – it can be found in the WP theme repository here. Anyone have any idea what the problem could be? Thank you in advance.
