Got the same problem, I did a quick edit with notepad, didn’t find any whitespace, or linebreak’s. It looked perfect. It took away 20min’s of my life. Then I used php editor, and went berserk, crappy MS notepad inserts chars at will.
Getting to the point… whooami is apsolutelly right, there are chars in the begining or end of files, if you edit them in notepad.
