In reply to: [Contact Form 7] Form not sending to 123-reg emailHello,
I’m Nerys and I work here at 123-reg.
Just from the information provided, I cannot say exactly what would be the problem with the contact form, however I have noticed the details you have mentioned regarding the spam settings. From what you have said the setting are actually set to their strongest, which may be why you are not receiving the emails. There is a guide which explains all about the spam filtering on the 123-reg mail services, which you can see here: https://www.123-reg.co.uk/support/answers/Email-Basics/how-do-i-edit-the-spam-filter-on-my-mailboxemail-forwarding-837/.
I hope the above helps clear up some details over the spam settings.
Regards,
Nerys

In reply to: WordPress Name Servers or 123-reg Name Servers?Hello Vanessa.
When you are linking a domain name to WordPress the usual way is to change the nameservers on the domain to point to WordPress as far as I am aware. You can use the below guide to help you do this from your 123-reg control panel:
Can I check if you have email services with 123-reg?
If you do, after changing the nameservers you will need to set up the below two mx records to keep this email working correctly:
mx0.123-reg.co.uk.
mx1.123-reg.co.uk.If I can be of any further help please just ask.

Have you been able to move everything over to your VPS yet?
You can find guides within the 123-reg support site for managing MySQL databases here:

If you need to you can ask a member of our VPS support team for help by submitting a support ticket here:

In reply to: 123-reg Hosting help (New folder for second site)Hello,
My name’s Nerys and I work here at 123-reg.
From your post I get the impression you are looking to have this second website hosted by using another one of the one click app installations we offer with our hosting packages is that correct?
If so you can install the app onto your hosting, in the same way you have for the first, and we will create the folders for you. You can then map your second domain name to the hosting packages and whilst doing so you will see that the folders drop down will contain a list of the folders for the new app you have installed.
If you need any further help please do say and I will be happy to advise.
Regards,
Nerys

In reply to: 123reg wordpress install moving directory to root folderHello,
I’m Nerys and I work here at 123-reg.
From your post I can see that you have already been in touch with our support team, however I would be more than happy to have a look into you account and seek to find a solution for the issues you have been experienced, and to gather any feedback which you would like to give regarding our products or support.
Regarding the issue you have reported with WordPress on the 123-reg servers, without knowing the package you have and details regarding your website I would not be able to comment on your issues at the present time, however I can confirm that the 123-reg can run with WordPress, and any issues customers have will be looked into individually, and advised according to their particular needs.
As said, I am more than happy to look into your issues further, for me to do this I would need a domain name or support ticket id.

In reply to: wordpress onto 123Hello,
I work here at 123-reg. I thought I would post to see if we can be of any assistance to you. There is limited advice I can give you regarding the pages you already have set up with WordPress, however I can confirm that if you did wish to use 123-reg hosting, we do have a one click installation app for WordPress, if that would be of any interest to you? You can find more details about our hosting here:
https://www.123-reg.co.uk/web-hosting/
https://www.123-reg.co.uk/support/answers/123-Apps/Linux-Hosting/123-apps-wordpress-1120/
With regards to changing where your domain name is pointed, once you have set up your new website, you will need to point the domain name to your hosting. You will normally do this by an A record, which will point to the IP address of your hosting. Whichever hosting provider you used would supply you with this and the guide below gives details on how to set this up for your domain name:
If I could be of any further help, please do ask,
Regards,
Nerys
