Many thanks for looking into this matter. Appreciate your time to test the plugin on WP version 4.9. I understand that it is not fully compatible with this version, so therefore I will have to upgrade to a newer version of WordPress.

Could it be the WordPress version? I am using Version 4.7.19

yes, the Publipress Permissions plugin is activated, but as I mentioned before, there are no settings available for this plugin. Just installed and activated.

I have created a user role “Translator” as an example, went to Roles screen, hovered over translator user role, but “hide” is missing there”. When I hover over Translator user role, it only shows Capabilities and Delete. Am I doing something wrong here?

Thank you for your reply. I have been reading this article of the link you have provided, and installed both plugins: PublishPress Capabilities and the PublishPress Permissions plugin.

In the “Capabilities” plugin the “Hidden Role” checkbox is missing and the “Permissions” plugin” has no settings at all. I have avtivated it, but I have not found any settings for this plugin.

Thank you for your reply. I am sorry, but it is really a simple matter to close subfolders! Before, I have clicked around but have not clicked the folder directly. Now I know how this is working, thank you. Anyway, the plugin is very intuitive, no need to read pages to work with.

There is one thing I am missing, maybe you will consider this for a later release:
When I create a main folder and subfolders, the number of files are showing the right side of the subfolders, that’s fine and really required. But what it would make sense when closing the subfolders to show the total number of files right side of the folder, means I will see directly that there are files in that folder. This is just an idea, which would help me and I am sure will also help other people who are using this plugin.

Still waiting for a reply to my previous comment. Now I realized that this widget which was installed 1 year ago, does not work anymore. It shows completely wrong weather details. If there is no update with a workable widget, this plugin should be removed from here.

I just placed a review and now found out that other users have the same problem with this plugin. As I can see here, it looks like there is no fix for this, and I would have to remove this plugin.

Hi David, I am referring to the latest version of the plugin. The server runs on PHP 7.2 and WordPress version 4.9. Anyway, I have removed now the Ultimate Dashboard plugin, while I found another plugin, which is working fine for me.
