So, I inserted one of the hooks into the plugin, so that every time a calendar is saved the cache of a specific post ID is cleared, and it works perfectly. Thank you!

Hm, is there maybe a PHP code I could use in the calendar plugin to clear the cache of a specific page every time I edit and save a date?

I have the same issue. Strangely in some cases the “)” is included to the link, on others not.

So do I see it right that the only possibilities are to either use a space after the URL or link them manually in the WP editor?

Adding the code worked for me too, but after deleting the line like you did the blockquote appeared again, so I left it in my functions.php
