There’s a min-height function I think. And I’m already using a child theme.

Well, there was such a line in the original code, so like we mod custom style.css, I thought I only need to put the modified version of what I want to change.

Which error message does it throw? You cannot redeclare a function?

Nothing. Just blank page. Neither the actual site nor WP-admin loads if I add that code in functions.php

Don’t know if the code is faulty or Twenty Twelve has issues replacing functions from child theme.

The home page content area is already a bit wider than default. I prefer the narrow layout for reading convenience.

Great idea about creating a full page template for the static front page. Let me know if you implement it soon.

By the way, I have this other problem while viewing the site from my smartphone. A slightly different colored translucent area overlaps the bottom part of the logo area if I view it from my smartphone. Sometimes, if I click or scroll, it goes away, and again comes back. Wish I could provide a screenshot.

It did work, but it shrinked the width of the dropdown menu sitewide. Is there a way to do this only for single post pages?

UPDATE: Thanks a lot. I’ve replaced 200px with 100% and it now works just the way I want it to work.

I cleared the caches too.

Maybe that style.css doesn’t get used because it was mostly blank. I’ll have to look if the framework’s style.css or any other ones are used.
