Zotpress 7.3.6 – mixes up my references

I have further investigated the problem and I find that the problem is added in Zotpress version 7.3.5. The bug is not present in version 7.3.4.

As I don’t want to use version 7.3.4, and mayby earlier versions which also might have the 7.3.4 security problem, I continue to use version 7.3.6.

It would be great if someone could help solve the problem that now makes my reference lists look chaotic and unprofessional.

I had this problem too, going from 7.3.5.1 to 7.6. Flushed cache but couldn’t fix. Rolling back to 7.3.5.1 and flushing the cache seemed to work, and reinstalling 7.6 and flushing again worked, for now at least. Fingers crossed.

Spoke too soon. Still jumbles up some of them. I use [zotpressInText item=”{ID:Ref}” format=”%num%” brackets=”yes”] in the text and [zotpressInTextBib style=”vancouver” sort=”ASC”] at the end. It’s always worked fine before. Unsure what the issue is.

So far I have figured if I flush the cache it works when I refresh the page once. Then if I refresh the page again, it’s all in the wrong order again. Defeated.

I also use style=”vancouver”. No solution in sight.

I confirm the bug — not sure what happened, as I didn’t change any code around here, but may be related to default options — I have a fix to be released in the next version.
