• Hi, I am using a shared host, so they are unable to disable gzip/zlib compression on the server. Is there any other method I can use with the .htaccess file to do the same? Or options? The plugin has already speed up our site a lot. So I am happy with it, but if we can also enable this option to compress via the wp super cache that would be great.

    Thank you

  • It will only make a small difference in speed to have the cached pages compressed already so I wouldn’t worry about it. However, you’ll need to ask your hosting provider if they can disable compression in some way.
