• Hi,
Each new backup is being created with the same date-based filename – in my case “*-backup-2013-06-07.zip”. Here is an extract from the log showing the actual date:
’01:21:09: Backup started on Friday July 12, 2013.
01:21:09: Your time limit is 30 seconds and your memory limit is 64M
01:25:33: Creating SQL backup of your WordPress core.
01:25:34: Creating SQL backup of your WordPress plugins.
    01:25:53: Approximately 2% complete.
    01:26:57: Approximately 57% complete.
    01:27:00: Zip archive complete
    01:27:00: Uploading *-backup-2013-06-07.zip (48.7MB) in chunks.’

    Advice appreciated!

    Thanks.

  • I am experiencing the same thing here. The result is that I end up with just one file left in my backup destination folder as the previous one gets overwritten.

    Gday guys,

This looks to be a regression introduced recently that I am working on now.

    This has been fixed.

The first backup you do after updating may have the same issue because the old file name is saved. However subsequent backups will be fine.

Thanks Michael. The new update has fixed the problem.
Keep up the good work and good luck!

    Hi,
I’m using your plugin for my five WP sites. I setted backup every sunday. In WP BACKEND I have the right informations: Backup completed on Sunday August 11, 2013 at 19:26:03. but in my DROPBOX ACCOUNT I have folder with different dates, some of them went back to july, 28th. Why does it happen? Can you help me to fix the problem?

    Thanks,
    Claudia

    Gday Claudia,

What do you mean by you have a folder with different dates? My plugin does not date stamp any folders.

    Cheers,
    Mikey
