Zip file invalid

Getting the same error reported 11 months ago as resolved in latest (0.2) release on WP 4.3.1 multisite.
Windows Explorer throws a “The Compressed (zippe) Folder… is invalid” error.
GNU unzip on Linux (RHEL 6) reports:
Archive: testsite201603170732.zip
End-of-central-directory signature not found. Either this file is not a zipfile, or it constitutes one disk of a multi-part archive. In the latter case the central directory and zipfile comment will be found on the last disk(s) of this archive.
unzip: cannot find zipfile directory in one of testsite201603170732.zip or testsite201603170732.zip.zip, and cannot find testsite201603170732.zip.ZIP, period.Running zip -FF on Linux against it will “fix” the problem, but unarchiving after the fix will result in subfolders being created in the root of the directory where the zip file is located, rather than a subfolder.
I *can* open this using free 7-zip for Windows utility. The root “folder” does not have a name/label.
Hope this helps in diagnosing the problem, because I really like this plugin.
