zip downloading as domain.com on certain browsers

  • Hi! I’m using the latest version of the plugin on PHP Version: 5.4.27;
    Web Server: Apache in WordPress 3.8.3. Everything seems to work for the most part, however I noticed that certain Safari versions are having issues downloading the files. I tested with: Safari Version 5.1.10 (6534.59.10) on Mac OS X 10.6.8.

    While the download codes plugin works flawless on every other browser, with Safari it keep downloading the zip file as a file titled “website-domain-name.com”. I’ve tried changing folder permissions and other steps. But no success.

    Also downloads don’t show download progress because they don’t have a file size specified in their headers.

    I’d appreciate your help.
