    Hello,

I’ve been using Woocommerce Shipping & Tax for three years, and have been manually adding zip codes to the standard rates section, however upon reaching 542 zip codes, I am no longer able to add/save more.

When I type in a new zip code along with country, state, tax rate etc., then click save, it just disappears.

    Q. I there a limit to the number of entries that can be added??

I originally tried using Jetpack to automate the zip codes for tax purposes, however it conflicted greatly with my site so I subsequently deactivated/deleted it.

Up until now, Woocommerce Shipping & Tax has worked fine … please advise.

  • Hi @wesleywest

Based on your description, you’re encountering a problem when trying to add more than 542 zip codes in the standard rates section. To my knowledge, there isn’t a predefined limit to the number of entries that can be added. However, some hosts may limit the size of data you can send in one go, which can affect how many tax rates you can add at once. This limit can vary based on the host and their settings.

If you’ve reached a point where you can’t add more, it’s possible you’ve hit such a limit set by your hosting provider.

What I would suggest to you is to consider importing tax rates via a CSV file. This can be a quicker and more efficient way to add large amounts of data.

If you’re still experiencing the problem after trying it, kindly share the following:

    • System Status Report: navigate to WooCommerceStatus. Select Get system report and then Copy for support.
    • Fatal Error log: Share a copy of any fatal error log found under WooCommerceStatusLogs.

    Cheers,
